Owl Rock was founded in early 2016 by Doug Ostrover, Marc Lipschultz and Craig Packer to build a comprehensive direct lending platform that addresses the distinct and underserved needs of U.S. middle market companies across a variety of industries. The company manages several private credit vehicles including public and privates business development companies (BDCs).
