FultonFishMarket.com

Distributor of fresh and sustainably caught fish from Fulton Fish Market, the second largest seafood market in the world

The Fulton Fish Market was established in 1822 in the borough of the Bronx, New York. In November 2005, the Fish Market relocated to a new facility in Hunts Point in the Bronx, from its historic location near the Brooklyn Bridge above Fulton Street in the Financial District, Lower Manhattan. The Fulton Fish Market is the largest seafood market in the world by species and the second largest (to Tokyo's Tsukiji fish market) by volume with over $1 billion in sales annually. The market itself is a cooperative made up of 24 individual multigenerational, family-run large fishmongers that have been in business for decades, some over a century, and distribute to retailers and restaurants in the New York area. FultonFishMarket.com is a separate venture that curates and sells a selection of fresh, sustainable fish sourced from those wholesalers, and distributes it to both restauranteurs and individual consumers across the U.S.
