Founded in London in 2021 by chemist Laksh Aithani to build upon AlphFold2 and RoseTTAFold, artificial intelligence protein structure prediction methods to discover new therapeutics. The company has developed DragonFold which includes experimental inputs (cryo-EM, ligand binding data, nuclear overhauser effect data, etc.) to extend the functionality of protein prediction models to accommodate protein-ligand complex structure prediction and to more precisely model 3D conformational structures. The company plans to progress an internal oncology pipeline of small molecule therapeutics based on the structural insights enabled by the protein machine learning technology.
