Uh-Oh Labs Inc.

Developing nucleic acid, point-of-care diagnostic based on loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP)

Uh-oh Labs was founded in 2018 by Cameron Ball to develop and commercialize a nucleic acid based, point-of-care diagnostic based on a modified loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) method. The saliva based test uses a novel "loop-de-loop" primer to significantly enhanced selectivity. The isothermal LAMP method allows for a low-cost, point-of-care and potentially over-the-counter testing platform for SARS-CoV-2 and other pathogens.
