Advocating for reproductive justice through social media and cool merchandise

Founded in 2016 by Seattleites Alex, Greta and Taya as a senior capstone project. Uterish exists as a response to the physical and legislative attacks on Planned Parenthood in the preceding years as well as the continued attempt by the government to legislate and police bodies (in particular, bodies with uteruses). Its purpose is twofold: 1) to spread a feminist, reproductive justice message, 2) to raise money to support the work of Planned Parenthood. Uterish operates as an online platform to connect activists, sell feminist apparel, publish an informative monthly newsletter, produce and curate opinionated blog posts, and support Planned Parenthood and the right to body autonomy.
